The scheme, at the former Peek Freans biscuit factory site, features 1,548 homes, extensive play and public spaces, including a large public roof terrace and pedestrian walkways.
The site incorporates new homes for a range of rents, a new secondary school and employment, cultural and retail spaces, interwoven into the neighbourhood. The development will incorporate historic buildings in the area into the plans.
Reach Active scope consisted of:
- To design supply and installation of new multi utility services including, Drainage, HV, LV, Potable Water and District Heating installations.
- The diversion of existing utilities and abandonment of TW sewers.
- Procurement of S106 and S116 agreements with Thames Water for new connections and drainage abandonments.
- Construction of haul Roads to facilitate future construction traffic.
- Provision of all Local Authority Licencing to facilitate off site utility connections.
- Acting as principle Contractor under the CDM regulations.
